Pushkar make the final 40 at British Curry Awards 2010

After 1000’s of nominations from across the country, Pushkar will be flying the flag high for Birmingham at the 2010 British Curry Awards (dubbed the ‘Curry Oscars’) at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Sunday 21 November. Only 40 restaurants are now left standing, ready to do battle. Emerging triumphantly from this battle will be nine regional winners and best Newcomer of the Year.

A whopping 3,500 restaurants (more than one-third of the UK total) were nominated. The elite nominees list has now been whittled down to a final 40, of which there will be nine regional winners and best Newcomer of the Year.
This year’s star-studded awards ceremony will welcome celebrity guests such as Chris Tarrant, Gary Rhodes, Heston Blumenthal, Ken Livingstone, Eamonn Holmes, Nick Ferrari, Rageh Omaar, David ‘Kid’ Jensen and James Whale.
